A side mount sand filter with a 650 mm diameter (650 dia) is used in a swimming pool to filter out dirt, debris, and small particles from the water. It uses silica sand (or alternatives like glass media) to physically trap dirt as water passes through. Helps maintain crystal-clear water, keeps the pool hygienic, and reduces strain on chemical treatments (like chlorine).
